Agardh, John Mortimer (1812 - 1862)
John Mortimer Agardh was born on the 21 December 1812 in Båstad, Sweden. He worked as Professor of Astronomy at the University of Lund. His papers include one on solar eclipses and on the latitude of the Lund Observatory, where he was observer before his post at the University. He died in Lund in 1862.
